The largest of these is the Mandara Spa group who have opened six spa and health treatment centres on Guam. Mandara also have twelve spa centres in Malaysia and Indonesia and are currently expanding their operations into the Western Pacific, Thailand and the U.S.

Mandara have created a 16,000 square foot headquarters at the Pacific Islands Club and have located another five spas at the Hilton Guam Hotel and Spa, Westin Resort Guam, Hyatt Regency Guam, Hoyel Nikko Guaml and Outrigger Guam Resortl. Designed to integrate with and reflect the natural beauty of the surrounding environment each spa offers a garden setting with lush foliage, Balinese decor, soothing music and sea views.

The facilities feature a combination of large sunken whirlpool baths, double head showers and wet and dry treatment tables. They offer a complete range of traditional and western spa treatments. Guests have a choice of treatments from therapeutic massage and herbal body treatments to exotic treatment cocktails mixing several treatments over a couple of hours.

Treatments include mud body wraps, herbal wraps and facials, salt scrubs, seaweed wraps, aromatherapy, reflexology and a selection of water bath treatments in addition to the treatment suites there are steam rooms, outdoor relaxation areas and a hair and beauty salon.

The Island Cuez Guam spa is also located in the Hyatt Regency Guam. The spa features an exclusive line of all-natural Japanese beauty products and offers a range of treatments. Guests are treated to body wraps and scrubs, massages, reflexology, healing aromatherapy and facials using traditional oriental techniques.

The Pacific Spa Club and Resort, located near Tumon in the village of Tamuning, is one of several independent health and beauty spas located on Guam. These facilities all offer a variety of body conditioning therapies, massage, sauna, and beauty treatments using both western and oriental techniques.
